Yuriy Kryakvin is an artist, sculptor who worked in the spirit of the Cubism art movement. A lot of masterpieces of the french modernism, like Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, also Russian Cubofuturism masters influenced his artistic manner. In the 70–80-s, Kryakvin painted characters and residents of Valaam. He created picturesque and sculptural portraits of his contemporaries. Solo exhibitions of the artist were held in Dusseldorf, New York, Japan, Finland and Russia. The majority of his works are in collections of Russia, Germany, Belgium, the US and France. Part of his artworks are in the Russian State Museum.

We recommend travelling to Mayakovskaya metro station. The walk to the AZ Museum will take around five minutes. After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
By car
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
