A long while ago, the story about a celestial turtle, who gifted some parts of its shell to people, was passed down from one generation to the next.
Others considered the creature to be the sea divinity, resting on the bottom of the ocean. Accesses and recesses of the sea embodied its breathing, storms and whirlwinds happened when the the turtle tumbled…
Today, as a part of the new AZ program for kids, we will see magical turtles of the artist Dmitriy Plavinskiy and will try to solve mysterious riddles about this marvelous being. In Ancient Egypt, Sphinx offered wayfarers to answer his questions correctly. Well, shall we start our journey? At the exhibition young guests of the AZ Museum could solve all the riddles about ancient turtles, make up mythic maps of their own Universe — the ones, that would lead to the outer space one day…

By metro
We recommend travelling to Mayakovskaya metro station. The walk to the AZ Museum will take around five minutes. After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
By car
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
