Anna Andrzhievskaya

Anna Andrzhievskaya is a Perm-born artist, graduated from the Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design as a painter in 2014, from the “PRO ARTE” school in 2013. The artist studied at the “New Media Laboratory of the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky theatre.
In her art, Anna creates outer worlds full of surrealistic images that resemble dreams in color or hallucinogenic states. Such imagery lets us discern in Anna’s art some influence of the Surrealist art movement and its poetry. The artist gains inspiration mainly from computer games graphics and from the beauty of nature. Anna Andrzhievskaya’s art was exhibited at various group and solo exhibitions in Russia, Europe and USA, at the 3rd Moscow Biennale of Young Artists, at MANIFESTA 10. Also, Anna is a member of the art-group “Sever-7”. Her works are in collections of the Museum of Political History of Russia, The Museum of 20th and 21st Century St. Petersburg Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp, the Perm Museum of Contemporary Art, the Street Art Museum and in private collections.
