Gennady Zubkov

Starting from 1963, Gennady Zubkov was a student of Vladimir Sterligov, what made the artist interested in theory, plastic concepts that turned to his interest in methodology. In the 70-s, he develops a plan and methodology of classes based on the Sterligov’s teaching system. In 1995 Gennady Zubkov created experimental art group “FORM+COLOR” and “APRIL 17” in 1998. The artist’s artworks are in collections of the Pushkin Museum, The Russian Museum and other.
