Kerim Ragimov

IN THE BEGINNING OF MY CAREER, IN THE PRE-INTERNET EPOCH, CONSIDERING MY YOUNG AGE OR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, I FELT LIKE I WAS “THE LAST ARTIST”. NOW, SO AS BEUYS, I CLAIM: “ALL ARTISTS, ALL GENUIS! I FEEL OF MYSELF AS A PART OF THE, SO TO SPEAK, SINGLE ARTISTIC BODY.”

Kerim Ragimov graduated from the Tavricheskaya Art School in Saint Petersburg. The artist works with the photo-based art. In 2007 he entered the list of top-100 Contemporary Artists of the prestigious catalog Ice Cream by Phaidon. In 2014 Kerim participated in the European Biennale of the contemporary art Manifesta 10 that took place in S. Petersburg. He also presented his “Human Project” in 2004 at the contemporary art biennale in Shanghai “Techniques of the Visible”.
