Peter Beliy creates installations and art objects. He uses industrial materials to feature interrelations between the modernity and the classics. Through history he researches the social cultural consciousness. For long the artist has been developing the project of the “memorial modelling” that affirms the culture as a current event beyond the contemporary, also the contemporary as a future cultural layer that is already filled with the waste. Peter Beliy is the winner of the Kuryokhin Art Prize (2009) and The Innovation Prize (2014).
