THE EXHIBITION SPACE, ITS ENERGY, HAS A GREAT VALUE FOR ME. IF I HAD MY WAY, I’D BE SHOWING ARTWORKS EXCLUSIVELY IN SACRED PLACES. YET, UNFORTUNATELY, IT HARDLY DEPENDS ON ME. IT’S SOMEWHAT ODD TO SEE MY WORKS HANGING AT THESE CONTEMPORARY SPACES. EVEN THOUGH PEOPLE SAY I AM A CONTEMPORARY ARTIST. INDEED, IT’S A LITTLE ALLIEN TO MY ART.

Tatiana Badanina is a painter and installation artist. Her most renowned works are: the series of engravings “The Album of Stars, Flowers and Birds”, series of paintings “Russian Architecture”, art objects “White Clothings”, “A Portal”, “Red Line”, “Stairway to Heaven”, “Wings”, “Shroud” and others. Mostly, these are installations, made of metal and alloys. Worlds biggest state and private museums display her artworks. Tatiana curates workshops and participates in exhibition projects in Russia and abroad. The Tretyakov gallery, The Russian Museum, The Hermitage and other museums worldwide have Badanina’s artworks as a part of their collection.
