"I DID NOT APPRECIATE THE DAY, CRAVING FOR THE FUTURE, HOPING TO GAIN THERE SOMETHING MORE THAN THE EVERYDAY LIFE CAN GIVE… THEN THE NOISE OF THE TIME WAS FIXED THROUGH THE COLORED IMAGES, SIGNS, SYMBOLS. CONCEPTUALIZED PLASTICALLY, THEY LIVED ON PAPER, CANVAS."
Vladimir Nemukhin was a painter who participated in the Lianozovo group. The artist actively took part in Moscow avant-guard exhibitions, legendary Bulldozer and Ismailovo exhibitions. Starting from 1965, he participated in abroad exhibitions in the US, Poland, Italy and France. Nemukhin experimented in the spirit of Cubism and Abstractionism. From the mid-1960 the artist developed the genre of the semi-abstract still-life with cards. In the 1990s he lived in Germany, from 2005 lived and worked in Moscow. Vladimir Nemukhin works are in collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the National Centre for Contemporary Art.

After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
By car
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
