Vova Perkin

Vova Perkin is an artist and art curator born in Maykop. He works in various genres and techniques, such as painting, graphics, soft sculpture, photography and performance. Vova started his career from the graffiti genre. The artist is a pioneer of the movement “Perkinism”, founder of the group of artists “Notre Utopia”, and of All-Russian Perkinalle of Contemporary Art. His works are imbued with vivid colors that create a game, grotesque, which resonate with charming naive stories about each character of the Utopia World. Vova Perkin participated in large festivals and exhibitions such as “THE WALL” project (CCA Winzavod), Sergey Kuryokhin International Festival, International Art Fair Cosmoscow (2018, 2019) and other projects. Vova worked with several big brands as a visiting artist (Cartier, Ray Ban, Coffemania, NYX Professional Makeup). The artist’s works are the collections of the RuArts Foundation, the ART4 Museum, The Street Art Museum, CCA of Sergey Kuryokhin, The Museum of Moscow, SDV Arts & Science Foundation, “Dymov Ceramics” School, as well as in other private collections in Russia and abroad.
