We often see buildings in the city landscape. If there’s an architecture in the scenery, you can depict it using lines and simple geometric shapes. Among urban buildings, churches show up in a specific way. Anatoly Zverev painted some of them very picturesque, but the rest — graphic, with lines that crossed by and formed the shapes imbued with colors.
We will paint a cityscape using several simple objects which you can find at home. Together we can create a suprematism landscape as avant-guard artists have done before, and we will also try to plan our small composition.

We recommend travelling to Mayakovskaya metro station. The walk to the AZ Museum will take around five minutes. After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
