Музей AZ, Москва
This was the time when Anatoly Zverev lived and worked — a space of inner freedom. Art emerged on the fly: in conversations, in encounters, in apartment exhibitions, in sound that arose almost out of silence.
All day, from 12:00 to 23:00, admission to the exhibition Anatoly Zverev. Open Storage will be free.
Visitors can explore the exhibition on their own or join one of our group tours, as well as take part in a special tour led by our chief curator Natalya Volkova.
From 12:00 until late evening, the museum will be running film screenings about Zverev — about his life and friends, his virtuoso practice, and the people who knew the artist personally. We'll also be showing our mini-series The Time of the Unalike — a project about the Thaw era and the art of nonconformism, featuring artist Anatoly Belkin and art historian Alexander Borovsky. The series is built around their witty, paradoxical dialogue among works by the classics of Moscow and Leningrad nonconformism.
A detailed schedule will be available soon.
In the evening, the AZ Museum will host the musical-poetic performance I Speak — and the Word Appears. Poems by Vladimir Aleinikov will be performed by actors of the Brusnikin Workshop, accompanied by saxophone, cello, and piano. It's an attempt to hear a time when image, word, and sound existed almost as equals.
Some events require registration; spaces are limited.
Come and watch, listen, and rediscover Zverev and his time.

After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
By car
