Музей AZ, Москва
In this new original program by Alexandra Volkova based on the exhibition "Zverev. Open Storage," together with #AZKids we will visit a museum "turned inside out" — we'll find ourselves inside the magical and mysterious "museum mechanism" and see with our own eyes how everything works.
We will learn how paintings live when no one is watching, and even peek behind their backs. We will witness how they travel and "move" from one exhibition to another. We will open "chests" with rare and mysterious objects, and answer questions — how and why should we preserve them, what stories and secrets can these objects tell?
In the workshop — at the "open storage" site — we will hold a joint performance in the spirit of Anatoly Zverev's artistic experiments. We will create "Spontaneous Paintings" and prove that you can freely draw with anything and on anything. Using seemingly simple materials, we will make truly colorful, unusual, and "experimental" drawings.
Program duration: 1 hour 30 min

By metro
We recommend travelling to Mayakovskaya metro station. The walk to the AZ Museum will take around five minutes. After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
By car
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
