On May 1-10, the AZ Museum works with no days off!
We are waiting for our visitors from 12 to 8 PM. Please, book your tickets in advance.
You have a unique opportunity to walk through the exhibition with the curator of the collection George Apazidis!
The collection of the Apazidis family includes more than one and a half thousand works from the early period of the artist's work. Zverev had been friends with them for 20 years and was a frequent guest at their home.
They left the Soviet Union in 1973 and all these decades Zverev paintings were in Stockholm, in the apartment of George Apazidis-the son of the collector Dimitri.
He has preserved not only a unique collection, but also a huge number of stories about the life and adventures of the artist, which will now be told in the AZ Museum at the exhibition "the Life and adventures of Anatoly Zverev".
Well, let's start our journey through the exhibition"the Life and adventures of Anatoly Zverev"!
For your convenience, we have divided the material into Museum floors.
We recommend travelling to Mayakovskaya metro station. The walk to the AZ Museum will take around five minutes. After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
