Dear visitors! Note that the AZ Museum will be closed from April 1 due to the exposition change.
On May 16, AZ Museum invites you to take part in the annual event "Night of Museums" online. This time our main theme is "The Game", as well as of the next part of the "AZ Adrenaline" project. Masterclasses for children, lectures and a special dj-set by Vitaly Kozak are waiting for you!
12pm — The Magic Touch. Master Class
Saturday morning we will start with the master class carried by the coordinator of the children programs of the AZ Museum Alexandra Volkova. Participants will have the opportunity to make one more discovery — to create a painting using the "newspaper technique" used by Anatoly Zverev. We’ll try to repeat the artist’s favorite painting theme: pine tries against the skyline.
You can join the master class via the registration.
3pm — Aces and Jokers of the world art. Lecture
Join the lecture by Sergey Solovyov, researcher and chief editor of the publishing project of AZ Museum. You could learn about the artistic life of Vladimir Nemukhin and about card games in the visual arts.
Before watching, don’t forget to sign for the lecture!
6pm — Premiere of the 7th series of the "AZ Adrenaline" project.
This time, a film about "The Game" project will be presented. This exhibit unified works by Anatoly Zverev, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev and Vladimir Nemukhin. In the 21st century the game is continued by the contemporary artist Platon Infante.
9pm — DJ-set #AZMUSIC by Vitaly Kozak
On the AZ Museum Instagram you can join the party with the DJ-set by Vitaly Kozak and his music mix.
See you on May 16 — let the distance make us closer!
By metro
We recommend travelling to Mayakovskaya metro station. The walk to the AZ Museum will take around five minutes. After leaving the station, turn first to the right into the alley, then moving forward, at the first intersection, turn left to 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Walk a few meters. AZ Museum will be on your right.
By car
There are paid parking spaces on either side of 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street or in the nearest alleys. Parking is limited, and on weekends and public holidays, the parking lots may be full.
